Yet another favorite from childhood, I present the Anne of Green Gables Series by Lucy Maud Montgomery. These books are presented in chronological order, but you will find that it is not always the order of occurrences in the stories.
I have processed all these unabridged books in the following ways:
1. I ripped all of these. Most are from Library CDs. All are high-quality rips.
2. Equalized volume. Several of these audio books had volume discontinuities. I have equalized volumes so there shouldn’t be any sudden jumps.
3. Dehissed and noise-cleaned. When needed, I performed low pass filters and deleted pops in the audio.
4. FULLY CHAPTERIZED. This took a several days. Each audio book was compiled into a single file (deleting bits like “end of disc 5, please insert disc 6″) and then separated into Parts and Chapters as defined by the original books. I find this to be the best way to enjoy audiobooks and it is perfect for iPods.
5. Encoded all books to a uniform MP3 96kbps 44.1kHz.
6. ID3 Tagged. All audio book files have been fully ID3 tagged including full COVER ART.
Unfortunately, this release is only about 90% complete. The fairly short final book written in the series (#8) is called Anne of Ingleside. I can not find a copy of this anywhere. If you are able to rip a good-quality copy of this audiobook, please let me know as I would love to complete this set. I would, of course, release it as a Chapterized-Tagged update and give you mad props!

Another favorite from childhood, I present the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. Yes, there are many similarities to Tolkien, but that’s because both were inspired by many of the same Welsh legends. Alexander’s tales are considerably closer to the original legends. These tales are beautifully imaginative and very influential. The character Eilonwy, for instance, is strikingly similar to Rowling’s Hermione.
I have processed all these unabridged books in the following ways:
1. I did not rip these. Rather I collected the highest-quality versions available and processed them my way.
2. Equalized volume. Several of these audio books had volume discontinuities. I have equalized volumes so there shouldn’t be any sudden jumps.
3. Dehissed and noise-cleaned. When needed, I performed low pass filters and deleted pops in the audio.
4. FULLY CHAPTERIZED. This took a several days. Each audio book was compiled into a single file (deleting bits like “end of side one, please turn over this cassette”) and then separated into Parts and Chapters as defined by the original books. I find this to be the best way to enjoy audiobooks and it is perfect for iPods.
5. Encoded all books to a uniform MP3 96kbps 44.1kHz.
6. ID3 Tagged. All audio book files have been fully ID3 tagged including full COVER ART.
As with my Rowling release, I have decided to release both the Library of Congress version read by George Holmes and the Listening Library version read by James Langton. I have found that both versions are quite good and considerably different, so I have taken the time to process both. I highly recommend checking out both versions.

Belgian company Image Line Software has introduced a new version of its popular package for writing, editing, and processing of music called FL Studio 8.
Compared with the previous version, FL Studio 7 FL Studio 8 package (also known as FruityLoops) from Image Line Software has more than 100 new and enhanced features, including a redesigned interface, new tools for working with sound, enhanced mixer, multi-channel system for recording MIDI signal, an extensive set of new add-ins, etc.
It is extremely important in the emergence of standard add-in module FL SynthMaker – with the help of this module, any user can create their own add-in sound processing. Module FL SynthMaker is a specialized version of the popular tools for developing add-ins and audio processing SynthMaker included revisions Producer and XXL.
Another important innovation is the permanent record music with MIDI-devices. Now the user can always see and remember the notes that have just played, he or his colleagues. It also adds support for exporting audio format OGG Vorbis.
